About the day camp
At Kindled Cubs day camp, we nurture social emotional growth through art and play. Children are guided through craft activities and games that spark thoughtfulness, awareness, and creativity, while using accessible and sustainable materials.

Children are also encouraged to connect and play with and in nature. Our environment allows children to develop essential skills, such as emotional regulation, empathy, collaboration, and responsibility. We believe that these skills empower children to have a positive impact on themselves and the world around them.

The founder

Hi! My name is Sarah and I’m a licensed school social worker in Quebec and a mom of two young kids. In my work, I use therapeutic play and art to facilitate children’s emotional expression in the face of difficult situations, and I coach parents to help improve their attachment with their children. In my own family, I love to organize craft activities, create games, and have real and hard talks about big feelings, who Jesus is, making mistakes and amends, bodily safety, and unconditional love.
